Limoncello Occhiolino opens the way to a new generation of Limoncello. We are all familiar with the overly sweet, artificially flavored liqueur that is served at the end of a meal. Our Limoncello respects the traditional method of production, but has decided to shake up the proportions. Less sugar. It was an imperative to have a less syrupy and lighter alcohol. More real lemons. No question here of adding extracts of lemon to have a pronounced taste (or even coloring), we simply zest many many lemons (and by hand!). And finally, a more adapted alcohol titration. Limoncello is often found at 25 or 28% vol. alc. Occhiolino's Limoncello has 35% vol. The idea was to have a product that is suitable for both cocktail (mixed) and digestive (pure).
The combination is solar. Limoncello and tonic, acidity and bitterness, sweetness and pep, all this in a glass, it gives off such a power that your taste buds will remember. The glass is filled with ice cubes for freshness, and garnished as you wish, with a slice of lemon, a sprig of rosemary, a leaf of mint or basil.
We bet that it is THE cocktail that you will sip on the terrace and with friends.
